A long, low villa in colha-thatch and white render, set in a private four-thousand-metre clearing between umbrella pines and the rice paddies.
Casa do Pinhal sits inside a private wooded plot a short bicycle ride from the rice fields and the dune line. The volumes are arranged as a single thatched ribbon — open at the centre, generous at the ends — with a thirty-metre lap pool drawn along the southern face.
Interiors are by the Lisbon studio P-06 Atelier, finished in Portuguese stone, oiled chestnut and natural lime. The kitchen opens directly to a covered dining terrace; the principal suite has its own private patio.
The plot is fenced and irrigated, with established planting throughout — pine, eucalyptus, lavender, and a kitchen garden. A self-contained guesthouse of forty-two square metres is set apart at the rear of the property.
